Thank you OG&E and surrounding areas

-WE HAVE POWER!
-It's been a long two and a half days without power/electricity. Just would like to thanks any and all friends that helped Mike and I the last couple days: Shannon & Emily for feeding us, and letting us stay in the warm apt, Jeremy for letting us sleep in a warm place, and Kelly who would have let us stay. We really appreciate the help. I just hope the storm this weekend isn't so bad. I would also like to thank all the people that helped get the power up and running. I know there was some help from surrounding states, that drove in and helped. We actually drove by one of the parking lots with the crane trucks. and there was tons of them. I think everyone around here did a good job getting things back, and up and running. I know there's still some people that don't have power. so if you know of anyone, help them out, or tell them to hit me up and they can sleep on our semi warm floor. It's much better than the freezing house....Trust me on that one.

-I started this list last week, but never got around to complete it. but since its Christmas season, I've compiled a list of Top Ten Christmas Movies (in no particular order):

1. Muppet Christmas Carol-for some reason, this seems to be the only version of the Christmas Carol I can watch and not be annoyed. It's funny, stays along the storyline and has Michael Caine in it. Muppet Classic.
2. Home Alone 1 & 2-We watched these Monday night, and I had forgotten how entertaining this movies are. Great. and funny how Calvin went from age 8 to 10 in a year.
3. A Christmas Story-This is one of those Love/Hate movies, for the most part. I'm indifferent about it, but it seems to be a Christmas classic. Something about that kid getting his tongue stuck on the pole and the giant pink rabbit costume...
4. Joyeux Noel-If you haven't seen this film yet, watch it. It's a good movie, and based on a true story.
5. Bad Santa-This movie is pretty vulgar, but funny. That fat kid cracks me up.
6. How the Grinch Stole Christmas-Ultimate Classic. The cartoon version, not the one with Jim Carrey.
7. The Family Man-doesn't this count as Christmas movie?
8. National Lampoons Christmas Vacation. enough said.
9. Elf-have to love Will Ferrell in a ridiculous role.
10. Jingle All the Way. Terminator meets Stars Wars episode 1 meets house guest? Put that cookie down!

-and for other links:

-Don't mess with Dominik Hasek.

-Kitty Wigs. I can somehow see Emily getting one of these for the cats.

-Puma Holiday Bikes. w/ shoes and bags and such...neato.

- Neat Hookbox. On sale.

-Awesomely bad ad found on myspace.

-Neat Teacups.

-Whopperfreakout. I always enjoy BK's ads/campaign stuff more than other competitors. Although I'd be pissed if they tried to screw with me.

-The Indie Clause. Kind of a funny idea, but all they did was take scenes from Garden State, and put Santa Clause in it. Because when I think indie film, I think Garden State.....Not.

-apparently some nerds digitally enhanced the last scene in Lost in Translation to figure out what he says. Don't watch if you don't want to know...

-Finally. A new image has emerged from the new Where the Wild Things Are movie.
