"you are the king of funny internet things"

-I take pride that title. haha.
-Anyways, I had the great pleasure of watching Helvetica this weekend. It was good film, and also included a good soundtrack. I haven't been able to locate the exact tracklisting, but I was able to find one of the bands that played more than a few songs: El Ten Eleven. Check it out. Also, watch this video of the guitar player showing his loop magic. I think I need one of those guitars now.

Tetris for mac.

-I failed to mention this yesterday, but I stumbled upon Quinn: tetris for mac. I must warn you though, don't download this if you have lots of work/schoolwork to do. because you'll be hooked. I prob. played like 30 games already. anyways, here are my high scores as of last night, I challenge any of you. On the sidenote, if anyone figures out how to play multiplayer, let me know.

Further Up.

-First off, Thanks for anyone and everyone that came by Saturday. It was some good times. We're trying to make it a regularly monthly ordeal, and I think the next movie is slated for the weekend of the 26th, 27th. Young Frankenstein. With possible costume requirements.
-Second, Premier of The Office tomorrow night, Come on over and watch. Antenna pending.
-Third. My stomach has been kind of upset for the past week or so and I haven't been eating as well as I should. I'm not sure what it is, a combination of a few things, girls and work.....something along those lines.
-Helvetica, playing this weekend at the OKCMOA. I think I'll be at the Friday 5:30 showing.
-With the rain we've been getting, I've been wanting one of these.
-US money keeps getting worse and worse. Well, I guess color kind of spruces it up. but I think our currency needs a rehaul.
-Last night, I was thinking of how I needed some speakers for my bike. Oh, I guess they already have bike speakers.
-Video for Shannon: Little Girl vs. Soccer Ball.
-Intense Millienium Falcon Lego set.
-The Office PSAs. Please eat crackers responsibly.
-Thrice update 7/10. They've been doing a good job keeping this record underwraps. I'm thinking it has a lot to do with the fact they did the albums all by themselves. You can have a listen to a couple songs over at Spinner. Seems promising.
-Video for Lindsay-Cute Kitten. and No, I don't Look for these kinds of videos. I just stumble upon them.

PS BS

-I haven't had too much time to properly analyze the new photoshop logo, but all I can say is. Awful. Definately a downgrade. Maybe if I was into trying to create a logo with everything that was trendy and add that Web 2.0 touch to it, maybe I'd like it. Awful. Anyways, took a look at, from the Senior Product Manager's blog, in which he even hates it.
-Friday is crawling.
-Asian Spiderman. The photoshopped mask and the painted on suit just brings it all together.

Seoul.

-Today is bursting with links. ok, not that many. After coming home, I realized that trailer was on like 3 other daily blogs I read. crazy. This weekend might be movie night weekend. still pending on a few things, like my sister coming up and such. I'll keep you posted.
-AT&T commercials directed by Wes Anderson. 1 2 3 4 5
-"Pixel It" poster. Neat Idea.
-Close bags without a clip.
-Girls want my fonts. Something is very funny about this shirt. I almost want it.

abrandnewday

-I'm making my 11 o'clock stop. This week is going to hectic. I'm in the process of trying to finish 3 jobs for OU Physicians (some of which had started at the end of July), and I was informed this morning we need to finish up OK Today issue. The next issue is 192 pages, which is the largest they have ever done (in celebration with the centennial), so we've had our hands full.
-Juno: From the director of Thank you for smoking, Michael Cera, Jason Bateman, Dwight, and Kitty from Xmen. Looks promising.
-Dr. Whippy. Ice cream machine that cures sadness. I'm pretty sure I need one of these.
-and this book.
-Red is not funny. I found this article a couple weeks ago, but lost it. and found it again. so true.

Socially Flatlining.

-It seems to be the most uneventful week of the year. Mike started his new job, but he has to get there at 730, so he's been crashing out early, leaving me to sit around for a few hours doing nothing. Except think about how lame I feel, just sitting around. Work has been going slow for me too, I've been staying busy, but it feels like I'm there for 12 hours. Just not sure what to do with myself. The more and more I think about it, I just get really upset much of a social life I don't have. It is also becoming more apparent that the fact I don't drink somehow puts a handicap on my social life (which will stay that way). I just don't get drinking. retarded. I also don't get girls getting septum piercings, but I figure that's just something I won't ever figure out. Maybe one day I would like to have the appearance of a silver booger hanging out my nose. who knows. I also find it odd that my restraints to smoke, drink and/or have a tattoo has somehow made me stand out amoung peers. That's just kind of funny. I suppose I'm just having a harder time finding people with the same interests. The internet used to such a pool for finding people, and even that's not working out anymore. Even people I do know and email, somehow don't respond, let alone, people I hardly know.
-Amoung other things, today was a musically frustrating, and I think I'm to the conclusion that I'll never get to play a show. I'm also glad I got my new phone that I haven't used. I think I've averaging 1 call every 3 days. and I've only had to charge my phone twice in the past couple weeks. Between Mike and me, we've used a total of 87 of our 700 'anytime minutes' in the past 3 weeks. That's sad. In a few months, we'll have like 2000 rollover minutes. I've also silently added and Events section to my Virb page of events I'm trying to make it out. Not like it matters.

-Well, in good news, heres a couple links:
Check out the new version of Alligator by Grizzly Bear at Stereogum. This'll be a good ep, I'm sure.
I saw this one the other day, but forgot to post it: Snickers Dark Chocolate.
-Download some neat screensavers.

All the Southern Rage.

-I'm digging this cooler weather. in the 70s tomorrow. Thank you.
-Everyone check their Targets for Office Goodies. I think I need one of those stressballs.
-Soon, and very soon. That's going to be the coolest game, if and when it comes out.
-Bloxorz, if you have some time you need to kill. I'm only on level 11 right now. Pretty fun. I do like the puzzle games.
-I think I need this sticker pack. Very me.

Misunderstood.

-Caring for your introvert. That's all me- 'The only thing a true introvert dislikes more than talking about himself is repeating himself.' 'Don't you know that four fifths of all our troubles in this life would disappear if we would just sit down and keep still?' Isn't that the truth.
-Been thinking a lot lately, I tend to get that "how are things going?" a lot. and things are OK. I've concluded that I've hit a plateau of normality. That's the best way I could describe it. Everything is a bit routine, nothing too exciting happening. Which I don't mind too much, just would be nice to have a few things to mix it up a bit. Although this weekend was nice, seeing friends, and going out and such. that was nice.
-On the sidenote, I'm thinking maybe I'll just spend the next couple months paycheck on this.

F-F-F-Friday.

-Today is Mike's last day working at Target, as he will be starting a new job working for Midwest Trophy (responsible for the Heisman Trophy, Special Olympic medals, etc) next week. I'm sure we'll be up to something this weekend, prob. a celebratory dinner tonight. Possibly a movie night. and of course, some Wii. Come by.

Anything You Say

-Try to make a quick post; I need to get back to work, it's going to get pretty heavy this next week.
-iPod updates. the new nano looks awful. It'd be nice to have 160 gigs on the iPod as well...
-Fun Workspace. I'm pretty sure I need the CEO's outfit.
-Nice looking printers. I'll take one of those asian girls as well.
-London underground rug. yes, please. Check out the other products as well. I like those Penguin mugs.
-Morning, Sunshine!
-Nice toilet.
-New M83 is out. it's-a-nice.
