He's half way to buy-me-toys by now.
-Another sweet ampersand shirt you can buy me. and just in case you missed the one I posted ages ago. It's here. I guess ampersands and creme colored shirts is the thing.
-Also been eyeballing some new shoes to add to my Puma collection. Another pair of Lab II (if they were ever in stock), Mid Tops (I remember I had some mid tops in like fifth grade, time to bring it back) or some more high tops (it's a bit much).
-AD for Fifa Street 3.
-Time Lapse of someone putting together the Lego Millenium Falcon. That thing is intense. I don't have 500 bucks to throwdown for it either.
-SUPERMAN! maybe on a hot dog.
-Son of Rambow. hhhmmm...I'm getting a bit tired of this 'handwriting' style of movie credits. that's so 2004.
-Michel Gondry redos his own movie trailer.
-What font says change? I'm tempted to try to create my own political banner, just to see how difficult it might be.
-King of Kong move night is approaching very soon. Just trying to get the date sorted out. Might even be this weekend, Keep your eyes peeled.

Back to the Drone of Things.
-The weekend was aaaalright Saturday, I ran into Kaleb, and ended up riding around downtown OKC with a bunch of fixies. Kind of fun, but couldn't keep up with the bike talk. And last night went to Rogue Wave with my good pal, Jeremy. On the subject of the show.......quite a different scene than last time we went. It was filled with a bunch of college kids with beer bottles in hand. and was the first show at the Opolis which sold out. But wasn't too crowded for being sold out, not like the good ole days of the Green Door, being crammed against a speaker or something. The show was good though, the opening band, Midnight Movies, wasn't really anything special. Their music was sub par and quite monotonous. BUT, they had a chick drummer, and chick singer, which switched places periodically, so they get plus points for that maneuver. and the singer was hot. Just glad it wasn't a crappy local band. Rogue Wave set was good, mixed with old, semi old and new songs. Always nice when the band plays a mix, and somehow were able to transition their slower songs very well (California, Christians in Black-which I think were the best songs played). I tend to draw comparisions of what the band looks like, and last night was not any different. Their 'new' guitar player looked like a Nam Vet, complete with a military jacket with patches on it, dickies and grey hair. The frontman, kind of looked like he could be on MTV or something. But dont get me wrong, he was quite entertaining with his intermission stories including kicking robert plant in the balls and his love for Purple Rain... and the drummer looked like Howard from The Mighty Boosh, complete with mustache/fu manchu, but a bit skinnier and with an afro. Here's somewhat of a visual on the youtubes. Rogue Wave also performed what had to be the greatest drum transition ever. They ended a song with the drummer playing, then eventually each of the band members started playing their own drums, beating the amps, etc, then then after like five mins, they busted into Lake Michigan. It was a nice.
-It's Lego's 50th. How exciting. Here's a short timeline.
-Inside the cockpit.
-Puma's Glow in the Dark bike. Even the orange looks pretty good, and I'm not really even a fan of orange things.
-Story behind the biohazard logo. Interesting read. It's funny how the logo is really just an abstract mark, based on the idea of being remembered, rather than representing something, which is really the basis of 98% of logos.
-I told you block/slab serifs were the new sans serifs. I'm liking these: Archer. Black Sabbath.

Friday Mid-Afternoon Break
-I'm taking a small break from work. Pretty busy today, but I got a few mins to kill. Much better than yesterday. Amy is working on getting us a job at work, for a bowling alley. I hope we get to design the logo, should be fun. /anyways, I have to get back to work, here's a few links I had saved up.
-70s Faygo Commercial, saved this one for you Lindsay. You and the Faygo.
-This was all the rage yesterday. Dog cleaning your monitor.

-Some Clever ADs.
-Vision of Students Today.
-This has to be one of the neatest things I've ran into in a while. Puzzle Montages.
-Japanese Board Game=Battle Royale, the board game.
-I can't believe I didn't post this. or did i? Mario 2 on drums.
-Mike sent this to me this morning. Headless Chicken lady....giving cookies to kids. I think the funny thing is that she looks like that creepy old lady from Kingpin.

Christmas in January
-I received my new camera in the mail today thanks to Jenn. Thanks. It's going to take a little while before I can take decent pictures with it. I have to get used to using a real camera.....
-Interesting gummi bear sculptures. Go to sculptures: gummi bear series.
-Seventy Years of Penguin. That'd be a neat exhibit to go to.
-Chocolate Scrabble equals pure awesomeness.
-Inside out teddybears.
-Proof that Myspace searching sucks.
-NYC Waterfalls. Kind of a interesting concept, but I'm still waiting for Over the River, by Jean Claude and Cristo. I'm going to make it a point to go to this one, since I missed The Gates.
-Neat Workplaces. Google and eBay mostly. Google is just the place to be these days.

Blogtastic Tuesday
-I think I just wanted to use that word, "blogtastic" for some odd reason. but also want to pass along a couple blogs for peoples to check out. Everyone welcome Lindsay to the blog community. She had a livejournal, but has finally upgraded to a blogger. and I also recommend a stop by Emily's ramblings.
-If you're feeling quite crafty, in the ways of designing a new house for the president, Check out White House Redux.
-Tiny USB Camera.
-and I guess if you're fancy enough to own an iPhone, might as well, get pocket guitar for it.
-This happens after I kiss a girl as well.
-I stole from Petmart and got caught. A new form of punishment....
-Air Fork One. Ingenious.
-ideasonideas interviews Sagmeister.
-Best Knock Knock joke. (Warning Sis, Tom Hanks drops the F bomb).
-Macheads. Coming soon. I guess this is a legimate film.

Friday Night Recap.
-Quite an uneventful evening. Tried to work on some music on the computer. Not really successful. Ate dinner, which consisted of eggs and a not very good pancake. Watched Rocket Science. Was pretty good. Seemed to use a lot of Violent Femmes in there, or at least that song. Then I proceeded to sit on the computer the rest of the evening. EX citing. Been watchign a lot of Dexter too. That show is quite the intense.
-Waterboy goes too far.

-15 Amazing Coincidences. Via Yewknee.

Gargantuan
-I've been slacking on my internet linkage. Mostly due the fact that we are in full swing at work. It's weird being the first to be at work and last to leave all week. Gives me that feeling like I should have accomplished more than anyone else. But I really don't know how you would judge that. I've been having issues getting Into work, at work. Mainly due to the subject matter of the issue. Just bleh. I'll get through it though. somehow. Anything going on this weekend? anything?
-New Nada Surf Video. Get your fixie fix. That's all you Jenn.
-Lindsay needs to get one of these: Navigation system that gives visible timeline.
-Lacie has came out with some nifty little products. Little Disk. and an Ethernet hard drive.
-Pentagram does it again. Revamps Dairy Today. and makes me want to pick up an issue just for its sheer greatness.
-Braun products hold the future to Apple products. Interesting read.
-Ladies Are you doing laundry in the love of God.
-Paul Dano is Gangsta. Via Mike.
-I'll be sure to order one of these. Hello Kitty Gun.
-According to Shannon, I'm on a YouTube spree. Enjoy the opening scene to Eagle Vs. Shark. I love it. "yes, yes I will." "awesome"

Shoot Your Foot With Every Gun
-Quite an eventful weekend of sorts. Well, more than usually. A lot of foosball, went to Weatherford for a bit, etc and etc.
-I feel the need to make a meaningful post, and Saturday night, on my way back from Weatherford, I had quite a flow of thoughts. But of course, as soon as I get home, sit down to write/type anything done, it just all escapes.
-Anyways, I'll try to have a decent post later this week, I'm back to the grind at work, and trying to not fall into a creative block (which I feel myself getting into).
-Logo Designing Tips.
-2007 Logo Trends.
-McDonalds Beard Commercial. Why can't we have Mcdonalds commercials like this? All we get are those annoying "i'm loving it" crapmercials.
-Bloody Omaha recreated by 3 people(graphic designers). I feel like I've seen this before, but still a neat watch.
-Supposively, the Macbook Air is going to be released tomorrow. More on the Mac release tomorrow.
-and in case you haven't watched the Strange Wilderness trailer, watch it, then watch this video over again. I uploaded it a month ago, and somehow, in the past week, it has gotten 30k+ views. and a load of comments. Making uploading videos to youtube, actually fun. With that being said, I believe I will be trying to post up some clips from Hook, and taking requests, well, taking requests for any movie I suppose.....

The Way Things Go
-Today is going too slow. Work is kind of on a standstill. Waiting for pieces of Oklahoma Today articles to come through, so I can work on it. The big bossman, Steve, is out with the sickness, so I've just been hanging out by myself. Not so bad. Except for lingering morning.....come on Friday, get going!
-Flight of the Conchords at CES 2008.
-I don't sell crack, I'm a prostitute.
-19 Movies you didn't see in 2007. Only a couple of these seem worth my while.
-People that look like game characters.
-Buy some gameboy bricks for your patio.
-Maybe if I had a significant other, I'd be more excited about ordering some Mii Chocolate.
-Bologna Bubble gum? Gross.
-A Silver Mount Zion song used in a Lost Commercial.

Debating the Axiom
-I spend too much time in front of the computer. The week is almost over. yay.
-The Optimus Maximus Keyboard.
-Bill Gates pretty much saying Windows sucks.
-Art Show: Interpretations of Stan Lee's Characters.
-Goldeneye coming to xbox?
-If you're not having a good day, maybe some mXc painful eliminations will cheer you up.
-Or hockey bloopers? well, the mXc is funnier.
-Link of the Week: Mark Lives in IKEA. You can get the whole run down of the story from the website and such. I've been watching the videos the last couple days, and it's pretty entertaining. Speaking of IKEA, someone figured out the naming system for IKEA.
-"Creepy Ads."
-This is pretty bad, but somehow funny. You can now guess when Britney is going to die (and win a playstation).
-Halo + Mario=This Game.

Thirteen
-This week is going ever so slowly and doesn't seem to be as productive as it should be. But eventful in the world of the internets.
-Detailed photo of The Last Supper . Supposively greater than you can see with the naked eye....
-Xerox Rebranded. Definate Downgrade. Makes me think of this ugly logo.
-MadTV Parody of Feist & Apple. I like how they poke fun at PC too, wait, that's makes the whole video worth while.
-Volcom will pay 10k for a kickflip on a surfboard. If I surfed, I would be trying this....
-According to this game buying chart, I have real friends.
-This is a real neat concept for head tracking for VR displays, which not as complicated as it sounds. Watch the video, the future of tv, I'm sure. That guy is some sort of genius though. Check out the whiteboard video as well.
-Lindsay and I were on a discussion about how great this photographer's photos were, and we couldn't think of his name. We remembered, so check him out. Andrew Zuckerman. Watch his tidbit on Ellen. His new book he's working on (Wisdom), sounds promising.
-Lindsay sent this over to me earlier, interesting idea. alfabet in huid
-Ran into this blog tonight somehow, where he posted his Best Links of 2007. There was quite a bit that I hadn't seen, especially this one about reconsidering Star Wars, R2D2 and Chewy as actually super rebel spies.
-Vintage Ads for hip hop/disco in 70 & 80s.
-Conan is funny.
-Neat Showerhead.
-Shorpy-The 100 Year Old Photo Blog. I haven't browsed through here yet, but seems promising.

Monday, Already?!

-Eames Postal Stamps. Coming Soon...You can sign up for more info at Eames Gallery.
-Little Person being assaulted by a bull.
-I guess this one is kind of old..... Bruce Lee Baby.
-On the subject of thing of things being repeated too much. Excuse Me Princess, from the short run cartoon Zelda. and Shia Labouf saying No No No No.
-We watched Bladerunner this weekend, which was an odd one. The story kind of just lost me, and we ended up doing Mystery Science Theater for the most part. But the graphics were really good, considering it was done in 82. and we are still trying to figure out what the heck was with this scene from the movie.
-Jacob posted this friday, but definately deserves a double link: Great Olan Mills Photos, with captions.
-I'll have more later this week.

Break is over.
-Thanks to anyone/everyone that came out to the show last night, especially the always kind Shannon & Emily. It was the first time Mike and I have played any songs outside our house. and I think the first time we played in a show in years. And was definately worth the trip to see all those kids scream 'happy birthday' to Julianne. We're having a few issues with filling the bass spot, we had someone, but it was kind of akward or something. Anyways, if you know anyone that would like to play, especially around the 9-6 M-F schedule. That would be aaaaawesome. I felt a bit silly being the up front by myself. But in hopes my delay pedal skills made them forget that.
-In other news, I'm having issues with my domain forwarding and whatnot with my new site I was working. I don't know what the deal is right now. And since I moved everything over to one site: Just bookmark this motha.
-I think I need these shoes for my collection.
-I always kind of liked those marble toy things when I was little. and this a nicer rendition: Q BA MAZE.
-How to Win at Guess Who in One Move. I never really liked that game.
-Lifehacker has posted up Top 10 Obsure Google Search Tricks. and I will be using them.
-Vinyl Sleeve Heads. These are fun.
-Mario Power-ups.
-Appropriate Ebay scammer username.
-
-Human Tetris.
-Rumors of a Mac Tablet Notebook. hhhmmm. We shall see in a week and a half. which really is a giant iPhone. Speaking of giant iPhones, they should sell one as big as the one they have in display at the store....
-Minority Report program using a wiimote. I'm trying to figure out practical uses out of programs like this? is he going to try to figure out future crimes?
-Apple patents some crazy iMac/Macbook docking computer.

Happy New Year
-Needless to say, I spent the first few hours of the new year getting frustrated at HTML, and Windows. Mike is having issues with this IEXPLORE.exe file. so if anyone knows how to delete internet explorer permanently, as well as get rid of viruses that use that, please help him out. it's a mess.
-Also I've been trying to get something going for the past or so. and this is super way long overdue. but the New Site is up. I still have a few bugs to fix, as well as adding 7/8 of my portfolio and a resume. But my goal was to get it up by the new year (as of two weeks ago). and at least I got that. If anyone runs into something messed up or looking all funny. Please let me know. I just wanted to consolidate my web stuff into one site. I'm also looking into a new domain name, but I'm not sure I can settle with anything.
-Anyways, everyone have a safe and good new year's day.
